Landlord's Electrical Safety Certificate
Landlord of residential accommodation, including HMOs, are required to obtain a new electrical safety certificate every 5 years or when there is a change of tenant. It is not commonly known that home owners are also required to re-certify every 10 years, or when the property is sold.
Commercial Electrical Safety Certificate
Commercial properties, such as shops and offices, are required to obtain a new electrical safety certificate whenever there is a new occupier, and at least every 5 years. We can also vertify that fire alarms meet BS5839 & provide emergency lighting reports & cerification to meet BS5266.
Industrial Electrical Safety Certificate
Industrial premises require certification every 3 yrs or on change of occupancy to comply with the Electricity At Work Regulations 1989. Other electrical equipment such as fire alarms and emergency lighting also required regular certification. We are fully qualified to carry out the appropriate tests and provide the reports you need to meet your safety obligations.
