Welcome to G L Electrical Solutions Ltd. I am Gary Longworth and I launched my company in 2004 at the start of the recession, however years on we are still here. I believe this is due to me and my team providing quality workmanship, reliability and providing a first class service at all times.

I moved to Tameside from Wales at the age of 16 (with my hair, LOL!) and gained an apprenticeship with Peter Hewitt and Copex Electrical.

Once I was time served and qualified I worked for various companies in the UK and also abroad. I became a foreman electrician for Cheshire Contracting and Control based in Hyde and stayed with them for 12 years gaining invaluable experience and giving me a wide knowledge of installations, domestic, commercial and industrial.

Finally I believe if you ‘pay peanuts you get monkeys’ but I base my reputation on professionalism, reliability, honesty, competiveness and also believe a great after sales service is vital.

We also now offer a full design consultancy service for all new and existing customers.
