Gary has been involved with St Mary's for many years having been involved in the £1 million pound build of our pastoral centre in 2015. Due to the current energy price rises. Gary & his company (GL electrical solutions Ltd) are offering an LPH (lighting, power, & heating) survey to all businesses/churches/schools etc. to establish solutions that could help to cut running costs.

During a recent visit to St Mary’s, Hamilton, Gary worked tirelessly to find a way to convert our existing lights from 150w halogen to more energy efficient led bulbs while retaining the original lights and thus the aesthetics of the building. Gary also sourced and replaced the Church Hall fluorescent strip lighting with identical LED replacements. At St. Mary's lighting conversion alone should cut our electricity running costs by approx. 80%.

As well as lighting, Gary also replaced the existing fans in our hall with destratification fans. These fans, rather than just blowing cold air down in the summer for cooling, reverse direction and recirculate the warm air in the ceiling vault back down to help maintain the heat of our building during the winter months. We are absolutely delighted with the work carried out. We would highly recommend Gary, particularly for work required in a church setting.

When we acquired an old former liberal club to change the use to a Children's Nursery it required a full refurbishment program of works that complied with Building regulations standards.
